I first started teaching in 2005 and there have been many changes in the classroom since then. Until 2023 I was the teacher quietly heckling at the back of PD sessions and just waiting for management to move on to the newest latest and greatest thing. That all changed in 2023.

The world has changed and education needs to keep up. The way students learn, and the world that they will live in, is being led by social media and AI. Knowing how to use AI and how it is used on the world around us is a skill so why not learn about it in school?

I  believe that AI in education can help everyone but to many teachers it is too scary or feels like just another fad. This is my attempt to reach a hand out to anyone starting the same journey I am on.
